Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in acting at Tisch. Her performance quickly made her a part of the New York club scene. The performances she gave were so good that even the local press noticed. Then, she used her experiences as well as her celebrity to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me in which she played a role in. Soon after, she was offered the job of MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the show, she started appearing in TV and films, initially in short roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
