Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone has become a known Indian model and actress who has gained recognition internationally. Born in Denmark and raised within India, Deepika aimed at becoming a World-class badminton player just like her father Prakash Padukone. She soon lost interest in working in sports as she realized that modeling was her calling. Having established her position as the most famous model in the nation, stepping out on top-of-the-line runway shows, appearing as the Calendar Girl for Kingfisher and appearing in a couple ads and commercials, it only made sense for Deepika to make her next step and begin the journey of an actor. Her first acting appearance was in the Kannada movie 'Aishwariya. The film she made her debut in was a Hindi film, however, was titled 'Om Shanti Om. It was a film that catapulted her into the spotlight.
